the mix tape

Well a CD actually. "Tape" just sounds cooler. So lets say I made you a CD and you want to know which band does track 6, that's what this site is for. And if I didn't make you a CD, maybe you should have asked more politely. And if I don't even know you, then you're just very lonely and you're probably in the right place anyway.

The Sky Is A Landfill

1. Do You Remember Rock 'n' Roll Radio (Ramones)
2. I Radio Heaven (Over The Rhine)
3. I Held Her In My Arms (Violent Femmes)
4. Tonight (James)
5. Sitting Still (R.E.M.)
6. Hello Kitty Kat (The Smashing Pumpkins)
7. Scared of Girls (Placebo)
8. The Rebels (The Cranberries)
9. Corduroy (Pearl Jam)
10. The Sky Is A Landfill (Jeff Buckley)
11. I Can't (The Cranberries)
12. Arienette (Bright Eyes)
13. Too Young (Phoenix from Lost In Translation Soundtrack)
14. Waste (Phish)

The only song dummer than Sitting Still is Hello Kitty Kat. Only Nirvana could rival the meaninglessness of these lyrics. In high school I would blast Pieces Iscariot by SP on repeat and headbang off my walls. However, I did not wear DocMartens in the sun. That Cranberries song makes me wish that I had. Numbers 4 and 14 are little band-aids in this angst ridden mix, they soften you up so the rest of the spazfest seems more meaningful.
